Mommy Daughter Tea

Daddy took Ryan to work with him Saturday, and Abigail was feeling very left out. So I decided to have a special day with her. We dressed her all up (she loves to look pretty!), and we went and had tea at our local coffee/tea/library place. We had decaf Earl Grey tea and scones with clotted cream and jam. It was really fun, and Abby looked just precious. The owner of the coffee shop even gave Abby a scone on the house. She took the picture of me and Abby also (which I almost didn't post because I dislike the way I turned out). It was a fun morning with just the girls.

Oh what fun! I wish we had a place like that around here to go to. All the tea houses are in Orange County, no exactly a quick place to go to for a cup of tea.

You guys look great!

LOL..our "tea house" is in a building about the size of your house (Darcy) and it is also a coffee shop, meeting room and includes our entire public library! It's not really a tea house but a coffee shop and library, but the owner of the coffee shop is originally from England and she offers tea, smoothies, etc., and makes great authentic English scones!
