Swimming Lessons

Our homeschool group offered an opportunity for swimming lessons for kids three to five, so I thought we'd sign Abby up. Ryan had lessons two years ago, and did not enjoy them, to say the least. During those lessons it was all I could do to keep Abby from jumping into the pool, so I knew she would love swimming. Sure enough, she has really enjoyed her first several lessons, and is learning quickly. She won't open her eyes under the water yet, but other than that she's doing everything the instructor asks her to do.


We're actually in the district for the pool, so we're thinking about getting an annual membership. It will give us something else to do during the long rainy season (it's an indoor pool), and it will be good for them to learn to swim.
