We Were So Proud

I mentioned how well behaved Abby was at dinner last night, but I just wanted to brag a little more (I just can't resist) on her during the performance. When we sat down in our awesome seats (normally over $100 each), the man sitting next to us got that look in his eye that both Ed and I read as, "Oh, great, not a kid sitting next to me!" But Abby's behavior was just perfect. She really couldn't have been more quiet or sat more still than she did, and during intermission his icy reception did a complete meltdown! He was oooing and ahhing over her (she looked really cute in her red satin dress and curls, I must say). As we were leaving after the performance we had numerous other people who had been sitting around us tell us how wonderfully she behaved. Even Daddy and Mommy were floored at how quiet she was and how still she sat for almost three hours. It was a great evening!
