It may not seem like a major accomplishment for most kids, but Abby can now string an entire string of beads all by herself! We have been working on this for close to a year. Abby has problems with motor planning, and our occupational therapist said it is a great activity to help her improve. However, both Abby and I had been getting so VERY frustrated with it that I had almost stopped getting it out to practice. Abby would fuss as soon as see saw the box! We haven't played with the beads for probably a month, and today I got them out for her to play with. She picked up the string and went to town putting on one bead after another. I was so thrilled, and Abby was so proud!
