I had to smile this morning. Abby brought me the box with the beads, and said, "I want to do this, please, Mommy." A month ago it almost brought her to tears when she saw the box.
Another difficult thing for Abby is doing wooden puzzles. She can put the pieces in if they are oriented correctly, but if they are upside down or slightly turned she can't figure it out. I noticed when we were doing them last week that she was doing so much better. She had a little difficulty, but she was able to do them all without me first turning them the correct way.
Also, it wasn't too long ago that her attention span wasn't long enough to do a whole puzzle or a whole string of beads. Now she can do several puzzles at a time, and it took her quite a while to string the whole string of beads yesterday. I'm grateful we were able to get her the occupational therapy so early. It's so great to see her progress, and I thank the Lord that she is doing so well!
