Things have been a little too "exciting" around here the last month, so I haven't had time or motivation to do blog post. Here's a photo update of some of what Abby's been doing.
More swimming lessons.
Touring the fire station with our homeschool group.
(Daddy actually took them, which was a treat for the kids!)
Looking at the emergency supplies in the
ambulance during the fire station tour.
Learning more letters.
Enjoying our Valentine's Tea Party.
"Avast, me hearties!"
We let the kids be parents for a day because they thought
it would be so much fun (it lasted less than two hours!),
and Abby made her own breakfast of waffles.
Making progress with her writing skills.
One of Abby's lovely watercolors.
One of Abigail's favorite activities, digging in the mud.
Fishing at Vernonia but having no luck.
K is a difficult letter for her for some reason.
L is easy for her to write, but she still pronounces
it with a "y" sound, as in "I yuv you!".
Playing with modeling clay during a playdate
with some new friends from church.
Malee, Abby's new friend from church who is
quite the talented little sculptor.
Abby has begun learning quite a few phonics sounds,
and M is one of her favorites! She has learned many of
them from the Leap Frog DVDs, which have been
such an incredible tool for her this year. The letters
and sounds are set to music, and this makes it very
easy for her to remember things.

Busy month of activities!
She still doing good with her potty training?? She still dry most days???
Well.....not really. We haven't put her back in Pullups, but she is still having accidents about five days a week. I am back to setting the timer for every 30 minutes for a while to see if that does it. I think she's going through another mild regression this last month, and I've been meaning to do a post about it but just haven't had the words.
