Poor Abby! Yesterday I ran some errands in the morning not realizing how bad the weather really was. Roads were flooded and were being closed, every little creek had become a rushing river, and there were waterfalls bursting out of the hillsides every few feet. As we passed one particularly large flooded area Abby said in a small voice, "I think God's going to flood the earth again." I quickly reminded her that God promised never to flood the whole earth again and that He gave us the rainbow to remind us of that promise. She seemed reassured, but several times that morning I would look at her and say, "Remember the rainbow!"
