Christmas Cheer

We have been attending a playgroup for a couple months now, and for a service project we chose to make Christmas cards and deliver them to a local assisted living facility. We spent our last meeting making the cards with glitter, fancy scissors, and stickers. Then today we wrote Christmas messages, signed them, and delivered them. I didn't take any pictures of us delivering them because it just feels so awkward to do that, but Abby had such a great time! She just loves people and interacting with them.

Sadly, the first place we called to get permission to visit had been closed because of the flooding, and they were desperately trying to relocate their residents. However, we did get permission from another place, and the residents were so friendly and happy to see us. One sweet lady told us we made her day!

The playgroup is breaking for the next few weeks, and I don't think we're going to continue to attend. There are no girls (six boys!), and we want to try to find an older boy for Ryan to play with instead of all the little boys he currently plays with.
