My least favorite part of the week, but a highlight for the kids...Play-Doh.
She's struggling a bit with her Cs. I'm not sure why. You'd think they would be easier than As and Bs. It's also interesting to note that she wrote some of these with her left and some with her right. She most often uses her right, but when it gets tired, she just switches to her left hand! Wednesday she was coloring at a friend's house with colored pencils...one color in each hand, both going at the same time. Maybe she'll choose a handedness soon or maybe she'll be ambidextrous!
She spelled her name all on her own...sort of! I knew she could recognize her name, but I didn't know she could pick out the letters herself. Great job, Abby! She does almost everything backwards at first (notice one of the Cs above), and I'm not sure if it's just immaturity or something else. I know lots of kids frequently write letters backward, so it may just come with time.
