Blueberries and Raspberries!

I can't emphasize enough how much Abby loves fruit! She just can't seem to get enough of it, and she was thrilled to be going back to Kruger Farm Market to pick blueberries this week. She didn't actually pick very many, and many of the ones she picked she ate (though she had much more self-control today!). She picked dandelions, or "wishes" as they are known in our house and she dug in the dirt and just generally had a fun time outside.

Ryan said he was hot (it was about 65 degrees!) and was sitting under the blueberry bush to pick in the shade, so Abby joined him for a while. They thought it was the neatest thing to be sitting under the bush...go figure!

She thinks I don't know she's sneaking a bite!

Though it was a bit early for raspberries, they both really wanted to pick some, so we made the long (and I do mean long...it's a huge farm!) walk to the raspberry fields and picked a pint of raspberries. Abby began losing her previous self-control and couldn't stop eating. Between that and the fact that there weren't many ripe raspberries yet, it was time to go home.

Berries and whipped cream, yummy!
