Christmas Tree Shopping

Abby's first two Christmases she was too little to remember cutting our Christmas tree, and last year we were in the process of moving and other things so we didn't get a tree. So this is really Abby's first real experience of going shopping for a Christmas tree. We went to our local U-Cut tree farm up in the hills not far from our house, and Abby had a blast running up and down the hills in and among the trees. She kept tripping and falling though, partly because there were lots of obstacles and partly because she had her rain boots on and they are a bit cumbersome and partly because that just Abby! It didn't slow her down any though, she just got back up and kept going. She is so excited about the tree and can't keep her hands off of it. It is enormous, nearly nine feet tall (a $20 bargain)! We set it up today, and tomorrow we are going to decorate it. She can hardly wait!
