Christmas Day

We stayed in jammies on Christmas morning, we had cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then read the Christmas story from the Bible. It was a nice relaxing morning.


Since we don't "do" Santa Clause in our home, we thought it would be fun to surprise the kids a different way on Christmas morning. Though we put presents under the tree as we received them in the mail from family and friends, we didn't put the kids' presents from us under the tree until after they were asleep Christmas Eve. After we opened all the presents under the tree Christmas Eve, they thought we were done opening gifts. They were so surprised to wake up Christmas morning to see a few more presents along with their stockings full (we do stockings, but they know Mommy and Daddy fill them instead of Santa)!
