Our local library has been doing their summer reading program, Paws, Claws, Scales, and Tales, and they had their last big event on Monday. In addition to hearing stories, they could get their faces painted, make fun animal picture frames, and they all got some prizes. Abby was first to volunteer to get her face painted and said she wanted a purple butterfly, so that's what she got. In fact, we left it on all afternoon so Daddy could see it, and she had a purple stain on her face for that night and the whole next day...yikes.
