We were invited to attend a birthday party for Ryan's friend on Saturday at Chuck E. Cheese. Neither Ryan nor Abby have ever been, so I wondered how it would go. Well, Ryan had a blast and couldn't get enough of playing video games and rides, but Abby went into overload fairly quickly with all the loud video games and rides, lights, music, people, and general frenzied atmosphere. She shut down and was just not herself. I put her on this ride, which she normally would love, and she begged to get off. So I finally decided to get her out of there and tear Ryan away from the fun. It was overloading for me and I don't have a sensory dysfunction!
