Buddies

Sometimes Abby and Ryan play together like they are the best buddies in the world. Today was one of those days. We finally have had enough dry weather that our mud puddle of a backyard dried out sufficiently to let the kids go out and play. They played for four hours! That may seem normal to most people, but our kids have always disliked playing in the backyard at our former house. It was all deck and concrete, and they just didn't play much longer than an hour or so. But today we broke out the Tonkas and the sidewalk chalk, and they couldn't get enough. I can't imagine how much fun they'll have when we actually have grass and maybe even a play structure!
