Anatomy of a Photo

It seems simple enough...taking a nice picture with everyone looking somewhere near the vicinity of the camera, each one with their eyes open, and hopefully with sincere smiles on every face. However, this kind of picture still seems elusive to me. I wanted to get a picture of the kids with Gramie before she left since I have neglected to get pictures on her last couple of visits (don't know why). Here's the four photos I took before the kids were done posing and off and running. None of them are great, but there's at least one good one of each person. Maybe I should delve further into my photo editing software and cut and paste a good picture together...hmmmm.

Okay, Ryan, the idea is to look at the camera.

Abby, we don't need to see your tonsils for this picture.

We're getting closer, but it would be nice to see Gramie's face too.

Yeah, a decent one! Though I wish I could figure
out how to avoid the glare on Ryan's glasses.
