Daddy had a field trip with his Life Sciences class on Friday, so we all went with him. It was at the Sitka Center for Art and Ecology (Hey, it's Oregon!), which turned out to be a neat place. Abby kept asking, "Are we going camping now?" I found that funny since she's never even been camping! We saw a herd of elk, some deer crossing our path, herons, crabs, and lots of spruce trees. Abby had a blast throwing rocks and shells into the estuary, and running along the dock. She kept saying that it was a "beautiful day God made." I had to agree with her, it was a very beautiful day!
