Sandbox

It's been raining all weekend quite heavily, and so yesterday we took the kids to OMSI in the afternoon. There weren't many people there, and it was nice to play in some of the exhibits without a big crowd. The exception was the sandbox...there were quite a few kids in it, but Abby and Ryan both love this sandbox, so off we went. Once I convinced Abby to stop flinging sand and/or pouring it over her head, she finally sat down and played nicely, filling her bucket up over and over.

While we were there I noticed a woman who looked so familiar, but I couldn't place her. Finally I went over to talk to her and found out she used to be Abby's physical therapist. She asked me if I was Abby's mom, and I was totally amazed she not only remembered Abby but knew who she was...afterall, she hasn't seen her for more than 18 months and Abby looks so different!
