Abby had two of her cavities filled today. She is usually so good at these kind of things that I asked the dentist if he could try it without the nitrous oxide first. They were a little hesitant because they said usually kids this age need it, but they agreed to at least try it. They said they wouldn't be numbing her mouth because the cavities were so small they wouldn't need to.
Well, she did wonderfully! They didn't numb her mouth or use the nitrous oxide. I was so proud of her. They said she did great, but they still wanted to break up her fillings into two appointments. So we go back in 10 days to get the remaining three fillings taken care of.

That's amazing that she did it without anything to ease her discomfort. Good for her.
I wanted to avoid the nitrous if they could, and I guess they were so small it didn't hurt any, but the drill kind of rattles around so I was surprised they didn't numb her. She's a trooper!
