Rocks!

For my birthday last Friday, we took a drive into Washington State to go see Mt. St. Helens. Abby loves to go places--just about any place is fine with her--so she enjoyed the trip. We took a short hike up Johnston Ridge, and Abby found lots of rocks (rocks at a volcano site, imagine!). She has recently taken a special interest in rocks. She picks them up everywhere, and I end up finding them EVERYWHERE! One of the exhibits had a wonderful play area, and Abby had lots of fun sliding, bouncing, and digging in the gravel pit (more rocks!).
